Indian players are reportedly set to avoid any charges or sanctions from the ICC for their involvement in the recent accusations against South African broadcaster SuperSport.
Captain Virat Kohli and bowler Ravi Ashwin were among those to have their critical comments picked up by the stump mic on the third day of the Newland Test, with the pair seemingly looking to send their message to the broadcast partner following a controversial DRS decision.
A reviewed LBW decision by South African batsman Dean Elgar soon left many bemused by the outcome of DRS' ball-tracking technology, with the ball bouncing over the stumps on review, an outcome somewhat surprising following an initial eye test.
Umpire Marais Erasmus was also heard saying "that is impossible" following the decision, with the enraged Indian group also making their stance on the decision known.
“Focus on your team while they shine the ball. Not just the opposition. Trying to catch people all the time," Kohli said, drawing attention to Australia's ball-tampering scandal from 2018.
Watch and listen as players and commentators react to this shocker from ball tracking. Erasmus: That is impossible. Ashwin: You should find better ways to win, Supersports. Kohli: Focus on your team as well and not just the opposition, trying to catch other people. #INDvsSA pic.twitter.com/D6NsMTexau
