Australian young gun, Nick Kyrgios, is through to the biggest ATP final of his young career, after a 7-6, 7-6 win over Spaniard David Ferrer in the semi-final of the Cincinnati Masters.

Kyrgios' powerful serve and ground strokes were too much for the hard working Ferrer, as the 22-year-old Aussie continued his brilliant form after beating Rafael Nadal in the quarter-final.

He will face Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in the in the final, after he defeated big serving American John Isner 7-6, 7-6 in the other semi.

“Obviously, I'm excited, but it's just another tennis match to me,” Kyrgios said post-match.

“I'll just go out and serve and whatever happens, happens. It'll be a tough match.”

If Kyrgios can claim the win over Dimitrov, it will be Australia's first Masters series title since 2003, when Lleyton Hewitt won at Indian Wells.
