Ben Simmons has been rewarded for his stellar individual season in US College basketball, winning several Southeastern Conference (SEC) awards.
Simmons has won the SEC Freshman of the Year award, and also been named in the All-SEC First Team and the SEC All-Freshman Team.
Simmons averaged 19.6 points, 11.8 rebounds, five assists and two steals per game in his 31 matches for LSU this season.
The young Aussie was also named the USA Today National Freshman of the Year.
