Making the feat all the more impressive, Thomas was bowling legspin for the first time in a match.

Last season, he was a wicketkeeper.

Playing for Sale against Stratford in fourth grade, Thomas had his older and more experienced opponents searching for answers.

โ€œHe played his second game in the seniors, and bowling his little loopy leggies he got five wickets,โ€ Thomas' dad Ian Wrigglesworth told Melbourne's 3AW.
