Ange Postecoglou says the Socceroos should have won 10-0 against Kyrgyzstan.

Australia recorded a 3-0 win in their World Cup qualifier last night, completely dominating possession, however, the Socceroos could have scored far more goals given the chances they had.

Postecoglou said he was very pleased with the way his side carried out the game plan and dominated the match with the manager only disappointed with the lack of conversions.

“Right from the kick off we dominated, which is what we wanted them to do — it's easy to say, but the players were very disciplined in carrying out what we wanted,” Postecoglou said.

“I'd have preferred we won 10-0 which we should have done, given the number of chances we had. But where we played our football, and how we played it, was very pleasing.”

Australia face Bangladesh in Dhaka next week in their next World Cup qualifier.
