Sydney FC coach Graham Arnold was so furious at the number of fouls in last night's 0-0 draw with Wellington, that he refused to attend his post match press conference.
There were a total of 43 fouls in last night's match, with Sydney FC conceding 29 compared to Wellington's 14.
Eight yellow cards were also handed out.
So furious was Arnold that he instead sent his assistant coach Steve Corica to attend the post match press conference.
โThere was a lot of fouls throughout the game,โ Corica said to Fox Sports after the game.
โIt's important we try to keep our composure and keep the ball as long as possible, but we found it very hard tonight with the amount of fouls throughout the game.โ
