The T20 World Cup's Super 12 stage will finally get underway on Saturday evening, with Australia set to take on New Zealand in the tournament opener. This is Zero Wicket's guide to the game, including how to watch it on TV or live stream it online.

The match will get underway at 6pm (AEDT) on Saturday, October 22, with it to be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Australia are the tournament defending champions and hosting the T20 World Cup for the first time, but will be under pressure from plenty of other nations - including New Zealand - to hold onto their crown.

How to watch Australia vs New Zealand on TV in Australia

Australia and New Zealand will be one of 11 games during the group stage which is available to watch on both pay TV and free to air TV in Australia.

Fox Sports, who have the rights to every game during the tournament, will broadcast the game on Fox Cricket, which can be found on Channel 501, with coverage to commence an hour before the first ball at 6pm (AEDT).

Channel 9 will also broadcast this game - as they will for all Australian games - with their coverage starting at 5:30pm (AEDT). It will be found on 9Gem until 7pm in your local timezone however as they will break for the news at 6pm.

How to live stream Australia vs New Zealand online in Australia

If you're looking to live stream the Trans-Tasman clash, then there will be plenty of options available for you.

The first of those is through Foxtel's coverage. If you already have a TV subscription, then you'll be able to use the Foxtel App, while those without can use Kayo Sports to live stream all of Foxtel's sports package from $25 per month.
