In a surprising move, the Baltimore Ravens are reportedly trading for Arizona Cardinals quarterback (QB) Jacoby Brissett, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
With the move expected to be completed in the coming days, Brissett will help add plenty of experience and control to a quarterback room in crisis.

The move comes after long-term injuries to former MVP Lamar Jackson and backup Tyler Huntley forced the Ravens to name rookie QB Joe Fagnano as the starter for their Week 9 clash against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After returning from a three-week ankle injury, Jackson injured his thumb on the first snap in a 36-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Monday morning (AEDT).
Backup QB Tyler Huntley, who replaced Jackson, also suffered a season-ending toe injury just ten offensive snaps later, leaving the Ravens depleted.
A quarterback room consisting of Joe Fagnano, Austin Reed, and Kedon Slovis - with a combined zero career NFL passing touchdowns - forced the Ravens' hand to trade for experience that can help reignite what has been a disappointing season so far.
After Friday's matchup against the Jaguars (AEDT), the Ravens will have an 11-day break before their next game when they host the Los Angeles Chargers, giving Brissett plenty of time to familiarise himself with his new offence.
Brissett was benched by the Cardinals in the third quarter against the Dallas Cowboys earlier this week, being replaced by Gardner Minshew, who led Arizona to a comeback overtime win with three touchdowns.
Since then, Minshew has been named the Cardinals' starting QB, with rookie Carson Beck named the backup, leaving Brissett out of the picture.
The Cardinals are 3-5 this season with Brissett as the starter. He has produced 1719 passing yards, ten touchdowns, and thrown seven interceptions.
Baltimore now sits at the bottom of the AFC North with a 4-4 record. They have lost their last three games in a row, which has sparked trade rumours regarding their star running back, Derrick Henry.
Whether Brissett can make a positive impact on the Ravens is yet to be seen, but all signs point to this being a positive trade for an organisation desperate for stability.
