West Brom striker Saido Berahino has slammed club chairman Jeremy Peace and threaten to go on strike, after the club rejected several bids from Tottenham for the 22-year-old.

Tottenham had been chasing Berahino all summer and had countless bids rejected by West Brom, as they re-iterated several times that the striker was not for sale, despite the player himself requesting a transfer.

Tottenham even made two improved bids on deadline day which were also rejected.

Berahino was furious with the club for blocking the deal, sending this scathing tweet after the deal fell through:
