Felipe Massa has confirmed that he will move to the Formula E series if he doesn't manage to secure another deal with Williams for the 2018 F1 season. The Brazilian was poised to race in the all electric series this year when he was called up by his former f1 team to return and drive in place of Mercedes bound Valtteri Bottas.
Robert Kubica is in the Renault garage in Monza and it is causing quite a stir amongst the conspiracy theorists. With Jolyon Palmer still unable to bring home any meaningful results, even if the main reason is due to mechanical failures, many are thinking the Polish driver will be taking over the Brits seat in 2018. Possible? Yes. Probable? Not sure on this one.
Fernando Alonso has revealed that he will be driving a race winning car in the 2018 season. This has thrown up another lot of speculation that the rumours of him going to Indycar were closer to the truth than originally thought. Remember, the Spaniard's contract is actually with Honda and not McLaren, but that deal will still run out at the end of the season. The only unconfirmed seat in a top team for next season is at Mercedes and we are fairly certain Lewis Hamilton, like Sebastian Vettel, would have already vetoed Alonso as a future teammate.
Alonso did admit that his drive didn't have to be in F1, he just wanted to be winning races, and surprise surprise, there is a vacant seat at Andretti Honda, the same team he contested the Indy 500 with earlier this year. Things are getting interesting and we predict that it won't be long before we hear the news of Fernando's future plans.
