Week one of the 2025 NFL season is nearly in the books.
Discover below who had the best offensive performances during the first week of the NFL season.
Josh Allen - Buffalo Bills
The 2024 NFL MVP started the new season from where he left off. He led his Bills to a stunning comeback victory against the Ravens.
Allen finished the game with 394 passing yards, 251 of them in the fourth quarter. He also finished with two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns.
His teammates, Keon Coleman and James Cook, were both top performers, combining for a total of 214 yards and two touchdowns.
Justin Herbert - Los Angeles Chargers
Herbert was a top performer against division rivals Kansas City Chiefs.
The star quarterback threw for 318 yards with three passing touchdowns, while also making a game-saving running play to gain an important first down.
Herbert led his team to an amazing victory to start the Chargers' 2025 campaign.
Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers - Baltimore Ravens
'King' Henry was also back in his dominant form, racking up 182 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns.
His performance was slightly diminished after he fumbled the ball late in the fourth quarter, leaving the door ajar for a Bills comeback.
Wide receiver teammate Zay Flowers was a standout with his 151 scrimmage yards and his big touchdown play.
Puka Nacua - Los Angeles Rams
The young Wide receiver had a great game in the Rams' narrow victory against the Houston Texans.
He had 10 receptions, leading to a huge 131 yards, but was unable to score a touchdown. However, he was crucial in gaining yards to put the Rams in scoring positions.
Aaron Rodgers - Pittsburgh Steelers
The 41-year-old quarterback led his new team to a narrow victory against his old side, the New York Jets.
Rodgers threw for 244 yards along with four touchdown passes. He also didn't throw a single interception and had a passer rating of 136.7.
The four-time MVP is looking to re-ignite his career after a rough period with the Jets.
Justin Fields - New York Jets
Opposing quarterback Justin Fields was just as outstanding in his debut for his new team.
Fields, a dual-threat quarterback for the Jets, threw for 218 yards with one touchdown. As well as having two rushing touchdowns with his 48 rushing yards.
Teammates Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson were also important in their first outing in 2025.
Emeka Egbuka - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The rookie wide receiver was among the Buccaneers' best in their big win against division rivals, the Atlanta Falcons.
Egbuka gained a total of 76 scrimmage yards with his four receptions from quarterback Baker Mayfield. He also scored two touchdowns, including an amazing catch in the end zone to win the game for Tampa Bay.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba - Seattle Seahawks
The 23-year-old receiver was the No. 1 target for new quarterback Sam Darnold in the Seahawks' opener.
Smith-Njigba was able to haul in nine receptions, which led to 124 receiving yards, but he did not have enough to reach the endzone. Still, the smart money could be on him finding pay dirt next week!
Daniel Jones - Indianapolis Colts
The Colts' new quarterback led the way in their impressive opening-week win against the Miami Dolphins.
Jones threw for 272 yards with a passing touchdown but was also able to find the endzone himself, with two rushing touchdowns. He was able to achieve what no quarterback has done this century by scoring on every possession of the game.
Colts fans can be excited after what they saw in week one.
Travis Etienne Jr. - Jacksonville Jaguars
The fourth-year running back was amazing in the backfield in the Jaguars' 26-10 victory over the Panthers.
Etienne racked up 156 scrimmage yards, with 143 of them coming via the ground. Unfortunately, he was unable to find the end zone, but he did have one huge play, achieving a 71-yard run.

Christian McCaffrey - San Francisco 49ers
The star running back was back to his best after a rough year with injuries last season. He led the way in a win against division rivals, the Seattle Seahawks.
McCaffrey had an overall total of 142 scrimmage yards; he was unable to find the end zone, but he was very impactful across the board for the Niners.
Jalen Hurts - Philadelphia Eagles
The 2024 Super Bowl MVP was back to his best again, leading the way in a narrow victory against the arch-rival Dallas Cowboys.
Hurts is known as another dual threat. He was able to convert 19 of his 23 passing attempts for 152 yards, but was most important in his run game, as he scored two rushing touchdowns and gained 62 yards.
Deebo Samuel Sr. and Jacory Croskey-Merritt - Washington Commanders
