Players from Brisbane Roar are still yet to be paid in June as the club's financial struggles worsen.

The players were due their monthly payments on the 15th of June, however, they are yet to see any money.

The Roar is understood to be investigating "very serious financial liabilities" that have come to light in recent weeks since the departure of managing director Sean Dobson.

The club sent a letter to staff earlier today explaining the financial difficulties, as well as announcing the need for a further cash injection from their Indonesian based owners, Bakrie Group.
