Fresh off their promotion to the English Championship, Wrexham AFC is set to bring its rising star power to Australian and New Zealand shores this July as part of an exclusive three-match tour across the region.
Co-owned by Hollywood duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the Welsh club has become a global phenomenon in recent years thanks to their star power backing and FX docuseries Welcome to Wrexham.
They have shot up to England's second division after three consecutive promotions and their visit marks a unique opportunity for local supporters to witness the next chapter of their remarkable story.
The Red Dragons will play three matches across the month:
July 11: Wrexham vs Melbourne Victory – 7.30 pm AEST
July 15: Wrexham vs Sydney FC – 7.30 pm AEST
July 19: Wrexham vs Wellington Phoenix – 3.00 pm AEST
While several Premier League and European heavyweights will travel through Asia for their pre-season preparations, Wrexham will be the only major international club embarking on a dedicated Australia-New Zealand tour, giving fans in this part of the world a rare and intimate chance to see them up close.
