Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho continues to have the wood over Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger in the league as the Blues defeated the Gunners 2-0 in a drama filled match, where Chelsea striker Diego Costa was once again at the centre of the controversy.
Defender Gabriel was sent off for back heeling Costa just before half-time, the forward luring Gabriel into unnecessary action. Costa was lucky not to receive the same treatment after appearing to strike Lorent Koscielny in the face.
Chelsea went on to win the game thanks to a header from Kurt Zouma and a deflected Eden Hazard shot, moving them to 13th on the ladder, while Arsenal remain fifth.
Leicester City remain the only unbeaten team in the Premier League after coming back from 2-0 to take a point away from the Britannia against Stoke. Leicester's star players Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy now have nine goals between them, to leave Stoke without a victory so far this season.
West Ham have become just the fourth team in the history of the Premier League to record away wins against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City in the same season.
The Hammers took all three points away from the Etihad as Victor Moses and Diafra Sahko found the back of the net in a game that saw Kevin De Bruyne score his first goal for City, following his 55 million pound move from Wolfsburg last month.
The two sides are now one and on the table, with just three points separating them heading into next weekend.
