Replacing Zlatan Ibrahimovic – it's almost as hard off the field as it is on it. Fortunately, for Paris Saint-Germain, one of the richest football clubs in the world, the monetary side of things will come fairly easily.

If word is true that Unai Emery may be taking over in Paris, he will want to ring in the new era by making a splash at PSG, and he's in luck, as there are plenty of high profile forwards up for grabs this transfer window.

The most obvious way to go about replacing the production of Ibrahimovic is from within the club, and with the ink having barely being etched on his new contract at the Parc des Princes, Edinson Cavani firms as the clubs' new striker.

Moving Cavani into the strikers' role and bringing Javier Pastore onto the left wing seems like the most likely immediate move for the Parisians, especially considering their mega financial commitment to the Uruguayan.

Robert Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski seems to be playing coy on his future with Bayern Munchen, and has even entertained the idea of reuniting with his old boss Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

Surely then, with significantly more to offer, PSG would be in the hunt if they were to feign interest in Lewandowski. Whether he is for sale or not is another question.

There have been rumblings that Gonzalo Higuain may be on the move from Napoli, despite the man himself stating that he “would not betray” them.

Interestingly enough, Hiugain was born in France and is a citizen of the country. Whether or not this would tempt him to the city of love is uncertain, but there's no harm in finding out.

After a brilliant season at Borussia Dortmund, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is being linked all over Europe, prompting the Germans to slap a 65 million pound price tag on him.

Such a cost is mere chicken feed to the Qatari owners of Paris Saint-Germain, and the fact that Aubameyang was also born in France and has played in Ligue 1 before would certainly make the transition easier.
