NBA stars Dennis Schroder and Franz Wagner led the way in the championship game. Schroder put together a double-double with his 16 points and 12 assists, while Wagner chipped in 18 points.
Former NBA player Isaac Bonga led Germany in points with his efficient 20 points with four threes.
Turkish star Alperen Sengun gave it his all as he had a game-high 28 points, but unfortunately fell short of the gold medal.
Greece earned the tournament's bronze medal in their victory against Finland, as NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo put in 30 points and 17 rebounds.
EuroBasket also announced their awards for the entire tournament, which included MVP, all-star five, best defensive player, best coach and rising star.
Dennis Schroder claimed MVP honours for the tournament as he led his country to the gold medal. The point guard averaged an amazing 20 points and a tournament high of seven assists per game.
Schroder has made his case as one of Germany's greatest ever FIBA players, and is pushing his case for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

The All-Star second team also had some familiar faces, with Nikola Jokic, Deni Avdija, Jordan Loyd, Lauri Markkanen and Cedi Osman all earning those honours.

Turkey's head coach, Ergin Ataman, was awarded the best coach of the tournament. Ataman coached his side to their first EuroBasket final in 24 years. He led them to wins against some of the tournament's top contenders in Serbia and Greece, and the only loss they suffered was in the gold medal match.
Germany's Isaac Bonga was awarded the best defensive player of the tournament. Bonga was hugely deserving of this honour, as he was asked to defend some of the better players in the tournament.
Bonga was crucial in defending Finland's star Lauri Markkanen in the semi-final, holding the Utah Jazz to only 16 points.

Finland's Miikka Muurinen earned himself the tournament's Rising Star award. The 18-year-old was a fan favourite throughout the tournament.
Muurinen added electricity off the bench for Finland, which helped propel them to a fourth-place finish. The young star will be one to look out for in the future of the basketball world.
Germany will look to defend their title in the 2029 EuroBasket tournament, which will be co-hosted by Estonia, Greece, Slovenia and Spain.
