Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson remains in serious for The Red's clash with Arsenal on Monday.

Henderson limped off during Liverpool's win over Bournemouth with a foot injury. The England international underwent scans yesterday, with medicos still awaiting results.

He had missed several days of training in the lead up to the match and only took his place in the side with the help of painkillers.

Liverpool is confident Henderson has not broken any bones, but the injury is likely to require a long period of rest to recover.
