India defeat Bangladesh to win Asia Cup

Virat Kohli once again led the way, as India claimed a sixth Asia Cup with an eight wicket win over Bangladesh in Dhaka.

India won the toss and sent Bangladesh into bat, with the Tigers managing 5-120 off 20 overs, thanks largely to Mahmudullah, who blasted a quick fire 33 not out form 13 balls to save his side's blushes at 5-75 after 12 overs.

India lost Rohit Sharma for one in the second over of the run chase, but from there, Kohli and Dhawan took control, with the latter scoring 60 from 44 balls before he was caught in the 13th over.

MS Dhoni (20 not out) then joined Kohli (41 not out) at the crease, as the pair reached the target with seven balls to spare.
