Jamaica is through to the Gold Cup Final for the first time after stunning reigning champions USA 2-1.

America were the red hot favourites to defend their title in their home country, however, found themselves 2-0 down after just 36 minutes.

Darren Mattocks headed home the opening goal in the 32nd minute, before Giles Barnes doubled the lead just four minutes later through a free kick.

America finally got one back in the 48th minute through skipper Michael Bradley, however, even after constant pressing it was not enough and the Jamaicans held on to record an historic victory.

Jamaica will either face Mexico or Panama in the Gold Cup Final on Sunday.
