Australian golfer Jason Day has reclaimed the World No.1 ranking, replacing American Jordan Spieth in the latest golf rankings released on Monday.

Day takes the No.1 spot for the second time in his career, after first claiming the honour on September 21 this year when he moved ahead of Speith shortly after winning the PGA Championship in August.

Neither player played last week, but Day moved ahead of Spieth based on the rankings formula, with a 12.42 points average to Spieth's 12.4.

The Australian has won six tournaments this year.
