Perth coach Kenny Lowe says that last season's salary cap scandal will not hurt the Glory in the 2015/16 campaign.

Lowe is adamant the scandal has not left a heavy fog over the club, but has admitted that it may have set them back slightly.

"Unfortunately maybe we slip back a little bit, we have to maybe take a couple of steps back and then we'll move forward again," Lowe said.

"The boys coming in, they have a smile on their face; they're hungry; they're keen, so we are very much where we were last year.

"If we can blag it, and finish a bit higher than we finished last year, we'll have a good year."

Veteran goalkeeper Ante Covic is expected to sign with the Glory within the coming weeks, while they have secured the signatures of youngsters Hagi Gligor, Jerrad Tyson, Alex Grant, and Antony Golec to negate the loss of several key players due to last season's salary cap breaches.
