Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has been officially unveiled to the LA Galaxy fans on Saturday night, as his new club handed Toronto FC a 4-0 thrashing.
"It feels great to be here, I'm excited and I can't wait to get my boots on and play in front of you guys,” Gerrard said to the crowd.
"Hopefully we can have some good times together and it can be a successful future.
“I've been in Liverpool all my life, but this is a good place for me to come and enjoy my football, and hopefully add a trophy to my collection."
Gerrard is eligible to play for Galaxy from July 18.
