New Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal are set to battle it out for an Italian star.
After denying reports he would return to Borussia Dortmund to poach his former players, new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly set his sights on Napoli midfielder Jorginho.
There's just one problem: Manchester United counterpart Louis van Gaal is apparently also in for the Brazilian-born Italian, setting up a tantalising battle between the Premier League arch rivals.
The speculation comes from the Daily Express, which claims Klopp is a big fan of the 23-year-old and could make him his first signing at the Reds, though United could intervene after scouting the player throughout last season.
