Another 19 gold medals were won on Day 3 at the 2024 Olympic Games, with Japan still sitting at the top of the medal table.

A strong day has moved France into second place on the medal table with five gold medals alongside China, Australia and South Korea, while the USA is now in sixth spot.

Australia's fifth gold medal was picked up by Mollie O'Callaghan in the pool, with Ariarne Titmus winning silver in the same event.
