Brazilian star Neymar could miss the rest of the Copa America after receiving a red card following a headbutt against Colombia on Thursday.
The Barcelona striker appeared to lightly headbutted Colombia's Jeison Murillo, which then led to a melee after the full time whistle.
Neymar had a frustrating night and was already on a yellow card, which would have seen him miss Brazil's final group game of the tournament. However, he is now set to face further sanctions and could even miss the rest of the tournament.
The South American Football Federation's disciplinary committee released a statement following the ugly scenes.
The statement said that they had “provisionally suspended Neymar for one game after his behaviour in the aftermath of Brazil's 1-0 defeat to Colombia, and will meet on Friday to decide the final punishment.”
