Matthew Stafford: 25/34 completed, 279 yards, 4 touchdowns, 1 interception
Puka Nacua: 7 catches, 106 yards
The Rams secured a 30-20 victory over the Vikings, marking a crucial home win and another loss for a side the week after playing Detroit.
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford led the charge with four touchdown passes, including two to receiver Demarcus Robinson, helping Los Angeles break a close tie in the fourth quarter.
The Rams' defense also made a statement late in the game when Byron Young sacked Vikings QB Sam Darnold for a controversial safety, sealing the outcome on a missed facemask penalty.
Darnold, who threw two early touchdowns for the Vikings, struggled to maintain momentum as the Rams' defense tightened.
The Rams' ground game, led by Kyren Williams with 97 rushing yards, helped sustain long drives that kept the Vikings' offense off the field. Minnesota's loss brings them to 5-2 on the season, while the Rams improve to 3-4.

Winston tallied three touchdowns and 273 passing yards in the statement win, snapping the Browns' five-game losing streak.
The Ravens, featuring a typically strong performance from Lamar Jackson with 263 passing yards and two touchdowns, controlled portions of the game but faced defensive resistance from the Browns, particularly on red-zone drives.
Despite a late push to regain the lead, the Ravens fell short when Cleveland's defense clamped down, sealing the Browns' first divisional win and home victory of the season.

Detroit dominated Tennessee in a lopsided Week 8 matchup, securing a whopping 52-14 victory.
Detroit capitalised on both strong offensive execution and defensive pressure, holding Tennessee to just two touchdowns. Quarterback Jared Goff threw multiple touchdown passes, utilising a wide array of receivers, while the Lions' running game also contributed significantly with explosive plays from Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery.
The Lions' defense overwhelmed Titans quarterback Mason Rudolph, intercepting him twice and scoring off turnovers. Detroit's special teams also added to the excitement with a punt return touchdown from Kalif Raymond, further extending their commanding lead.
The Titans struggled to find momentum and were unable to counter Detroit's relentless pace, falling to 3-5 on the season.

Defensively, Will Anderson Jr. kept the pressure on Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, sealing the win by forcing a fumble on a Hail Mary attempt in the final moments.
Indianapolis may have a concern at the QB position now, Richardson producing another inaccurate performance in a tough loss, and this week exiting play citing exhaustion.

Garrett Wilson: 5 catches, 113 yards
Jacoby Brissett: 15/24 completed, 132 yards
Rhamondre Stevenson: 20 carries, 48 yards, 2 touchdowns
The New York Jets fell to New England in Week 8, marking a painful continuation of their dismal campaign season.
Despite Aaron Rodgers throwing for 233 yards and two touchdowns, the Jets continue to destabilise further by the week, now slipping to a 2-6 record.
This loss raises alarm bells about the effectiveness of Rodgers' leadership and the team's direction under the current administration, who may have just fired their best coach, Robert Salah.
With each defeat, it becomes increasingly clear that this season is faltering, turning what was once hopeful anticipation into a campaign plagued by frustration and no clear solution moving forward.

His efficiency was complemented perfectly by running back Saquon Barkley, who rushed for 108 yards on 22 carries, showcasing their strong ground game that kept the Bengals' defense on its toes.
On the other side, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow played typically well but eventually struggled to keep pace, completing 26 of 37 attempts for 249 yards, along with one touchdown and one interception.
Burrow's primary target was tight end Mike Gesicki, who caught seven passes for 73 yards, but the Bengals' offense could not consistently capitalise on scoring opportunities, now falling to 3-5 without a scalp over a winning team.

Two of the Saints' only points came from a safety, and despite a solid defensive effort, they couldn't keep pace with the Chargers' offense.

Chicago rookie Caleb Williams faced challenges with his accuracy, completing only 10 of 24 passes for 172 yards along with a turnover. However, running back D'Andre Swift provided a spark with 129 rushing yards and a touchdown.
The result keeps Washington competitive in the NFC playoff race while leaving the Bears with more questions about their season's trajectory and questionable management following a bye.

Kansas City controlled the contest with Las Vegas despite coming out with a mere one-score victory.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was solid but unfortunately kept his pick-throwing streak alive with a tipped pass in the Chiefs' endzone. Luckily Steve Spagnuolo and the league's best defence delivered an incredible stand, thwarting the Raiders' efforts to capitalise and forcing a turnover on downs to preserve their lead at a crucial juncture.
Mahomes completed 27 of 38 passes for 279 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. His favourite target, Travis Kelce, made ten catches for 90 yards and a touchdown, returning close to his best with the addition of star receiver DeAndre Hopkins creating more space in the pass game.

Najee Harris: 19 carries, 114 yards
T.J. Watt: 2 sacks, strip sack
Both teams tussled competitively and had chances to separate themselves early, but Pittsburgh eventually took down the Giants 26-18 at home.
The Steelers' special teams and defensive plays may have been the difference in the end, notably with Calvin Austin III scoring on a spectacular 73-yard punt return. Austin added a second touchdown with a 29-yard pass from quarterback Russell Wilson in the fourth quarter.
But Wilson's inclusion has been a major boost for the storied franchise, finally watching the pass game lead them to victory with explosive plays at crucial stages.
The Giants struggled offensively but found some success in the ground game, with Tyrone Tracy Jr. rushing for a 45-yard touchdown to keep them within reach.
However, turnovers and defensive pressure from T.J. Watt, who stripped Daniel Jones to essentially seal the game, hindered their efforts to mount a comeback. Greg Joseph's four field goals helped keep the Giants competitive, but Pittsburgh took the points and now lead the AFC North.
