Australian goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has etched his name into the record book by winning two consecutive EPL title without playing a game in either campaign.
He has become the first goalkeeper to win consecutive Premier League titles with two different clubs and he is also the oldest winner of an EPL title, at 43 years of age.
The Aussie is also the first player in Premier League history to win back-to-back titles without a playing a single match.
Schwarzer was the back up keeper at Chelsea for the first half of last season, before moving to Leicester. But his half a season was enough to earn him a Premier League medal, with manager Jose Mourinho heaping praise on the Australian's contribution to the team and ensuring he received a winner's medal.
“As a goalkeeper, when we needed (Schwarzer), he was there for us, and as a person and a professional he was an amazing guy in our group,” Mourinho said at the time.
“On behalf of myself, my staff and my players I want to say we are going to miss the big guy and we wish him all the best in his new life at Leicester.”
This season, Schwarzer has been the back up to Kasper Schemichel and has not played in a Premier league match.
But the 43-year-old has been vital behind the scenes in teaching the younger players and proving an excellent example of professionalism throughout the season.
“He's a phenomenal professional,” Foxes keeper Kasper Schmeichel told Fox Sports' Daniel Garb last week.
“You look at him, he's 43 now, and the physical shape he's in is incredible for someone that age. The way he trains every single day is an example to everybody.”

Unfortunately, Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel's Canadian Grand Prix was compromised right from the start, when his Ferrari was damaged after the charging Red Bull of Max Verstappen cut across him as he made his way into second place off the start. In the process, Sebastian's wing was damaged and he was forced to pit for a new nose.
Initially, the team's data showed the damage done by Verstappen's move was not too serious, but in the laps following the safety car period, the wing broke off, causing further damage to the turning vanes and the floor.
After this unexpected stop, Seb went all the way back to 18th place and fought gallantly to make his way back up through the field, eventually crossing the line in fourth place, after just missing out on taking Daniel Ricciardo for third.
“I think my start was not particularly, good but at the same time not that bad either. The car was good, I think it was clear that we could have been better than fourth, but that's how we finished and what is done is done,” he said. “Overall, we know we have a strong car. Looking back at the start, Bottas and I were trying to go from the inside when Max came around but these things can happen.”
“Then, with the safety car on track I did not realize that the damage to the front wing was as bad as it actually was, we only noticed it at full speed. There was also some additional damage to the other part of the bodywork, hard to say what they cost me in terms of laptime, but the car did not feel as the one I had driven in the past two days.”
“Yet the pace was there and I would have liked some more laps to finish on the podium, the trophy here looked nice… That was my target and I missed it. But we are growing up as a team.”
