Manchester United's bid to sign Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos appears over, with the 29-year reportedly agreeing to a new deal at the Bernabeu.

Ramos, who was believed to have wanted to join United, is said to have agreed to a new deal after meeting with club president Florentino Perez in China, while on pre-season tour with the team.

The deal is expected to be finalised upon his return to Madrid.
