What is the impact the Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, Ja Morant, and LaMelo Ball trades on the rest of the NBA?
Stars have shifted alignment in the NBA's ever-changing landscape, with some of the league's marquee players set to shake up the league on their new teams moving forward.
It hasn't been since 2019, when the likes of Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler, Paul George and Russell Westbrook were traded where we've seen an off-season like this, making it all the more relevant to go through and rank the most league-changing trades.
These rankings will be based on their impact on the league and how they will change the NBA landscape moving forward, rather than on how fair they were to each team.
5Suns hope to rise while Hornets clean house
Phoenix Suns get: Miles Bridges, 2027 second-round pick, 2029 first-round pick,
Charlotte Hornets get: Grayson Allen, Royce O'Neale, 2033 unprotected first-round pick
It looks like some identity and direction have entered Charlotte after decades of irrelevancy and mediocrity. Moving a problematic while skilful in Bridges tops off the Lamelo move by signalling to the fanbase that the team is going all in on a fresh start centred on Brandon Miller and Kon Knuppel.
The additions of Allen and O'Neale will be great system players for a young team, while getting Naz Reid gives him the opportunity to grow and lift his game to another level. With how their team is structured, now the possibilities for the future are endless for the Hornets and that's a lot more hopeful than being stuck as a fringe play-in team
The Suns have gained some much-needed offensive firepower with this move and upgraded their power forward spot for an explosive talent. Bridges is however, coming off one of his worst seasons in years and lacks efficiency, so it's hard to see how he fits into a a Suns team where their point guard isn't close to the same level of playmaking that he's been used to throughout his career.
