The South Australian Cricket Association have named their squad for the 2017/18 season as they look to go one better and claim the Sheffield Shield title.
Travis Head and Chadd Sayers headline the Redbacks' outfit looking to continue their strong red-ball form in the upcoming season as Head and Adam Zampa sit as the lone two Redbacks with Cricket Australia contracts.
Young stars such as Alex Carey, Jake Weatherald and Joe Mennie also highlight a list filled with potential with rookies John Dalton (opening batsman), Nick Winter (left-arm swing bowler) and Harry Nielsen (wicketkeeper) also handed full contracts as they look to build on strong seasons last summer.
“Our Redbacks squad has a nice mix of established and developing players and we look forward to them all taking big steps forward in the 2017-18 season," Tim Neilsen, General Manager of High Performance told the team's website.
