Spanish midfielder Corona has joined Brisbane Roar on a two-year deal.

Miguel Angel Garcia Perez-Roldan, better known as Corona has made 312 appearances Spanish side Almeria.

"The way Miguel plays on the ball, he's technically very good and he will be able to start the plays for us," Roar coach John Aloisi said.

"He's got all the qualities that we are looking for in that position to play the style of football we want to play."

The 34-year-old joins the Roar as a replacement for the outgoing Luke Brattan, who has been linked with English giants Manchester City, who will most likely loan him out to another European club.
