As a jam-packed week 13 of the NFL comes to a close, we were gifted with lots of great games, including many surprises, as well as big playoff implications for many teams.

Here are the top seven takeaways from this week's action.

1The Bears are legit

Even though the Chicago Bears started the season 8-3, many people were sceptical about how good they actually were due to most of their wins coming against easier opponents or coming in a close game, but the Bears shut this all down with their performance this week.

They were able to secure a 24-15 victory against the Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles. This win was also away from home, which makes it more impressive.

Ben Johnson has really turned this team into a playoff contender, starting with the running game. The defence also ranks as the team that has forced the most turnovers, while their offence sits at fourth for the least amount of turnovers.

The Bears now sit at the top of the NFC with their 9-3 record, and after their win against the Eagles, we now know they are legit.
