The Socceroos take on Brazil in a two-game international friendly series over the next few days.
The first match will be played at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Friday night, with the second match played at Suncorp Stadium on Tuesday.
The Socceroos have no shortage of exciting homegrown talents that will take to the field during these friendlies, such as Nestory Irankunda, Lucas Herrington and Alessandro Circati, all of whom have inked overseas deals with European clubs following their 2026 FIFA World Cup performances.
Brazil haven't shied away from bringing superstars over to Australia for their friendly squad, with plenty of big players named to play against the Socceroos. Here are the players to look out for.
3. Estêvão Willian Almeida de Oliveira Gonçalves (Estêvão)
CHELSEA FC, FORWARD - English Premier League
Estêvão is one of Chelsea and Brazil's most exciting prospects at just 19 years of age. The young forward has been frequently compared to Brazilian legend and former FC Barcelona winger Neymar Jr.
His explosive dribbling and the stats Estêvão is putting up are some of the reasons why he is being compared to a young Neymar Jr. Ancelotti has confirmed Estêvão will be starting up front alongside Raphinha; this said, the Townsville crowd are in for quite a show.
Estêvão is no stranger to Australian crowds, having featured in Chelsea's Australian tour in late July. He put on a performance alongside his teammates against the Western Sydney Wanderers, showcasing some very flashy skills to impress the crowd.
