Near, far, here, there and everywhere, Test cricket has been played at a litany of venues across a string of countries over the years.

And while many of these venues are steeped in history, there are several others that have only just arrived on the horizon, or have dipped out of view and use.

This list of top scores is filled with familiar names who have left their marks at these storied venues, while there are also many oddities, forgotten faces and lesser lights that shone bright, if only for a moment, at venues further off-Broadway.

From a Bradman masterclass in Leeds to a Lara marathon on home soil, here is the full list of the highest individual Test cricket scores recorded at every venue.
