Today, the English Premier League is worth billions and billions of dollars.

However, like life itself, so much of this wealth is divided between the select few at the top of the pile.

With such a discrepancy between the league's 'haves' and 'have nots', the EPL title race is no longer one of the most competitive, with the same handful of Champions League-bound clubs the only ones competing for the title each and every season.

And with the status quo bought, sold and solidified in place, these same clubs have separated themselves from the pack, leaving their fans expecting to win every single week.

And for these sides filled with a galaxy of high-priced stars, perfection, it seems, is now in reach.

Throughout the last two decades, there have been six instances of an EPL team having managed to defeat every opponent at least once in a single season.

From a lights-out outfit out of West London to the impregnable force that calls the Etihad home, here are the four clubs to have ticked every box at least once:

Chelsea - 2005/06

Liverpool - 2019/20

Manchester City - 2017/18 and 2018/19

Manchester United - 2010/11 and 2017/18
