Referee Gabriel Murta completely lost it when officiating a lower league football match in Brazil, brandishing a gun during the match.
The Independent reports that the referee, who is a police officer, was kicked and slapped by some players, before he went to the locker room and returned with a gun.

The Referees' Association boss Giuliano Bozzano said that the association would meet with Mr Murta and a psychologist to determine the appropriate punishment.
