Western Sydney Wanderers have secured the signature of former Barcelona reserve player Dimas Delgado.

Delgado has enjoyed stints at Numancia, Cartagena and Recreativo in the Spanish second division, before signing with the Wanderers on a one year deal.

The 32-year-old said he is excited about the move to Australia.

“I am very happy with the opportunity and I look forward to getting started with the Wanderers,” said Dimas.

“It will be a very nice experience for me and my family, I'm going to a great country like Australia and a great city and I will do my best to adapt to the city and the Club as quickly as possible.

“I wish we have a great season full of success.”
