After testing for Pirelli on Tuesday while the team's third driver Antonio Giovinazzi put the car through its paces at the Bahrain International Circuit, Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel was back behind the wheel of the car that won his second race of the season last Sunday.

Completing a total of 67 laps around the circuit, Seb recorded the second best time overall in the SF70H with a 1:31.574, set on the soft compound Pirelli tyre.

While he was happy with the days results, he would have liked more time behind the wheel however morning issues prevented him from doing so.

โ€œIt would be nice to have done even more,โ€ said Sebastian at the end of the day. โ€œBut today we had a few little problems in the morning, which is normal for testing and then, in the afternoon, we lost some time when there was an electrical black-out in our garage. In any case, driving this car is always a pleasure. The times don't mean much, given we don't know what programmes the others are running.โ€

This marks the end of the first in-season test of 2017 with the next one not due to take place until July in Hungary.
