Australia has beaten the West Indies by six wickets in their opening match of the tri-series with the Windies and the Proteas in the Caribbean.
The Aussies won the toss and elected to bowl, with spinners Nathan Lyon and Adam Zampa doing the damage, claiming six wickets between them, as the hosts were bowled out for just 116 in the 33rd over. Lyon finished 3-39 from 10 overs in a man of the match performance, while Zampa finished 3-6 from 5.3 overs.
Mitchell Starc claimed two wickets in his return to international cricket, while Mitch Marsh and Glen Maxwell claimed one wicket each.
Johnson Charles top scored for the Windies with 22.
Australian the chased down the total in the 26th over, with opener Dave Warner leading the tourists to victory, with an unbeaten run a ball 55, as Australia reached the target with four wickets down.
Usman Khawaja and Aaron Finch scored 27 and 19 respectively, while Smith could manage six and Maxwell failed to trouble the scorers.
Mitch Marsh was the other not out batsman, finishing unbeaten on nine from 19 deliveries.
