Australia has beaten New Zealand by an innings and 52 runs in the first Test in Wellington.
The Aussies dismissed New Zealand for 327 on day four, wrapping up the match midway through the second session.
No.10 Tim Southee (48 from 23 balls) and No.9 Mark Craig (33) proved the greatest resistance, but it was not enough, as Australia's lead proved too great.
Earlier, Australia set up the win with a dominant first innings bowling display, dismissing the Black caps for just 183 in their first dig.
In reply, the tourists recorded an imposing 562, thanks to a century from Usman Khawaja and a double ton from Adam Voges, to set up a first innings lead of 379 runs.
The match will unfortunately undoubtedly be remembered for the controversial non-dismissal of Adam Voges.
Voges should have been dismissed for just seven runs in the final over of day one.
The West Australia was clean bowled by Doug Bracewell after leaving a ball that cut back beautifully.
However, the umpire judged Bracewell's foot to be over the line, calling a no-ball.
But replays showed that his foot was well behind the line, meaning Voges should have been given out.
He of course went on to score a sublime 239 and set his side up for a comfortable victory and 1-0 series lead.
