Ben Mitchell through to play off final

Ben Mitchell is the first player through to the Australian Open Play Off final, defeating Bradley Mousley 2-6, 7-6, 7-6, 6-4.

Mitchell came back from a double break first set loss, to fight out a gritty win in searing heat at Melbourne Park, fighting out two tough tiebreaks, before managing a break in the fourth set to take it out 6-4.

Mitchell will now face the winner of James Duckworth and Marinko Matosevic, who play today in the other semi final.
