Australian captain Steve Smith has been ruled out of Australia's one-day international tour of New Zealand due to an ankle injury.
The ankle ligament injury is only a minor one and will keep Smith sidelined for 7-10 days.
Smith confirmed the news to reporters on Friday morning.
The national skipper said he strained ligaments in his ankle during Thursday's win over Pakistan at Adelaide Oval.

The Chappell-Hadlee series begins on January 30 in Auckland.
