Australia has named a 14-man squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series in New Zealand.
Vice-captain David Warner will miss the series, with Cricket Australia opting to rest the in-form batsman for the Aussies' tour of India beginning in on February 23.
Melbourne Renegades batsman Aaron Finch has been recalled to the squad following his good form in BBL06, while Shaun Marsh has also been recalled, at the expense of Usman Khawaja, who along with Warner, will head to to Dubai early to prepare for India.
Australia ODI squad: Steve Smith (c), Pat Cummins, James Faulkner, Aaron Finch, Peter Handscomb, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Shaun Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Billy Stanlake, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Wade, Adam Zampa.
"David has had a very big summer and will benefit from a break in cricket, both mentally and physically," Interim National Selector Trevor Hohns said.
"He will travel to Dubai in the second group of departures to coincide with those players arriving from the one-day series in New Zealand.
"This gives Aaron an opportunity to return to the side. His form in the Big Bash League has been very good and he has earnt his recall."
