Australia has named its Test squad for the tour of New Zealand in February.
The squad features two big inclusions, with Jackson Bird recalled to the side, while relative unknown South Australian seamer Chadd Sayers has also been included in the 14-man squad.
The uncapped Sayers, 28, has played 38 First-Class matches for South Australia, taking 145 wickets at an average of 24.82.
"We are delighted to welcome Chadd Sayers into the squad for the first time and his inclusion is thoroughly deserved,” selector Rod Marsh said.
"Both he and Jackson Bird can swing the ball and operate at a lively pace and we believe both will be well suited to the conditions we are likely to encounter in New Zealand."
