Brendon Rodgers is set to become the highest paid manager in Celtic's history, with the club hoping to unveil the former Liverpool manager as the new boss as early as next week, according to the Daily Mail.
Celtic is willing to hand Rodgers a £15 million transfer budget to replenish his squad.
Former Everton and Manchester United boss David Moyes and Roy Keane were also candidates for the vacant position.
Legalities and a formal agreement are yet to be officially concluded, however, Celtic expect to unveil their man on either Monday or Tuesday next week.
