World No.1 Novak Djokovic has revealed that he was offered $200k in 2007 to throw a match.

Djokovic made the revelations on the same day that betting related corruption allegations rocked the international tennis world.

โ€œI was not approached directly,โ€ Djokovic said.

โ€˜I was approached through people that were working with me at that time, that were with my team.

โ€œOf course, we threw it away right away.

โ€œSomebody may call it an opportunity. For me, that's an act of unsportsmanship, a crime in sport honestly.

โ€œI don't support it. I think there is no room for it in any sport, especially in tennis."

Djokovic won his first round match at the Australian Open 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 against young South Korean Hyeon Chung
